NPI Scout does not ask for or intentionally collect patient information, protected health information, claims data, medical records, or patient health details.

Lead Information

Before purchase, NPI Scout displays anonymized lead summaries that do not include private contact details such as provider name, practice name, email, phone number, exact address, NPI, or contact name.

After purchase, the buyer receives the private lead details needed for direct follow-up related to the stated service need.

Buyers may use purchased lead information only for direct follow-up related to the stated need and may not resell, share, publish, or distribute lead details to any third party.

Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. NPI Scout does not store full credit card numbers. Payment information is handled by Stripe according to Stripe’s own privacy and security practices.

Information Sharing

NPI Scout may share provider or practice contact information with one buyer after that buyer purchases an exclusive lead.

NPI Scout does not sell the same lead to multiple buyers within the same service category.

NPI Scout may also share information with service providers that help operate the website, payment processing, email delivery, data hosting, analytics, or business operations.

Data Retention

NPI Scout retains information as needed to operate the lead marketplace, fulfill purchases, maintain business records, prevent duplicate sales, respond to correction requests, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

Provider and Practice Requests

Providers or practice contacts may request corrections, updates, or removal from future contact by emailing providers@npiscout.com.

Security

NPI Scout uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No website, database, payment system, or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

No Patient Data

NPI Scout is a business-to-business lead marketplace. NPI Scout does not provide medical care, billing services, insurance services, credentialing services, or patient support. NPI Scout does not request or intentionally collect patient health information.

Changes to This Policy

NPI Scout may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
